Stan Grenz Awarded Honourary Doctorate

On April 30, 2005 Trinity Western University granted an honourary doctorate posthumously to Dr. Stanley J. Grenz. The degree was accepted on his behalf by Dr. Edna Grenz, Stan’s wife, at the university’s graduation ceremony. Stan was aware that he would be receiving the degree and was grateful and humbled by this honour.

Stan Grenz passed away early in the morning March 12, 2005, 24 hours after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage. He will be greatly missed by us all. Thank you for your notes of support.

Memorial Service

A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at 2:30pm at First Baptist Church, Vancouver.
